Our Muse
Our story starts in early 2021 when we decided to use cloth nappies we could never imagine the passion it would end up being.
Sustainability, Eco Consciousness but also a desire to do the best for our unborn baby.
When Roo was born we were still in the pandemic so nappy libraries were not open so we bought as many different brands as possible but almost all of them caused Roo’s legs to mark. We hated this so began our quest to create a nappy that made marks almost impossible and that’s how Winnie Pickles MCN was born.

Our Aims and Values

When we were creating Winnie Pickles MCN cloth nappies we had some core aims we wanted to achieve.
Soft, Gentle and Comfortable:
These aims influenced our material choices the nappy design features.
Easy to understand:
Starting to use cloth nappies is daunting and when putting together the collection we wanted to focus more on your baby and less on the specific material. We wanted newbies to have confidence in their choice of inserts based on our recommendation without needing a degree in material makeup and absorbency. Simply choose a bundle that sounds like your baby and away you go.
Beautiful:
THE PRINTS, Oh the prints. This is possible the most time consuming process and we wanted to make sure they were absolutely perfect. Designed for parents instead of children prints but all are nature based which children LOVE!
All Natural:
We really wanted a collection made from as many natural materials as possible. All our inserts are made from natural materials.
Sustainability:
Wherever possible we have used recycled material and we have tried to use more sustainable materials. We are using organic cotton instead of an alternative and including wool in the collection rather than adding more PUL to the options.
Luxury:
We wanted to add a little luxury to the Cloth nappy market. The other luxury brands just didn’t work for us and we wanted to create a brand that worked both for parents from an aesthetic point of view but also wanted to create the most comfortable nappy we possible could!
